On the Square Downtown Tyler

The T.B. Butler Fountain Square is open to the public and can be reserved on a first come, first serve basis at no cost. Running water and electrical outlets are located throughout the Square. Available electrical outlets are limited to standard 110v outlets. Any other electrical needs will not be provided by Smith County.
SQUARE RESERVATION POLICY
All square reservation requests MUST be submitted in writing to Commissioners Court staff for approval. No automatically reoccurring events will be scheduled. All reservations must be approved separately. The Square is available to the public on a first come, first serve basis. Smith County can only provide reservations for the space within the boundaries of the Square. For more information about the county's application, call 903-590-4607.

For information on sidewalks, street closures or barricades, contact the City of Tyler Police Department at 903-531-1090. For events involving food service, contact the North East Texas Public Health District at 903-535-0030 for regulations and requirements.

April 17-July 17 (Tuesdays and Thursdays), Wienerland Food Truck, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

April 23-July 30 (Mondays and Wednesdays), Curbside Taco Food Truck, 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

June 21-July 26 (Thursdays), Say Cheese Food Truck, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

July 14: Hit the Bricks, Visit Tyler, 8 a.m. to midnight

July 26: Battle of the Badges Blood Drive, Smith County Sheriff's Office/Fraternal Order of Police/Tyler Police Department, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

July 28: School is Cool Ride, 42 Taillights MC, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

August 11: Hit the Bricks, Visit Tyler, 8 a.m. to midnight

September 8: Hit the Bricks, Visit Tyler, 8 a.m. to midnight

September 15: Fall Small Business Festival, Empowerment Community Development Corp., 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

September 21: Living Peace Sign, Art of Peace, 9-10 p.m.

October 9: Turn Tyler Pink, Tyler Firefighters C.A.R.E./Carter BloodCare, 5-7 p.m.

October 20: Costumes, Trunks and Treats, 42 Taillights MC, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

November 3: Tyler Heart Walk & 5K Red Carpet Run, American Heart Association, 8-11 a.m.

November 29: Tree Lighting, City of Tyler, 7 p.m. (Following Rotary's Christmas Parade)

December 1: Set up Tyler Half Marathon and 5K, Premier Event Management, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

April 13: Praise Fest 2019, Empowerment Ministries Inc., 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

April 21: Resurrection Sunday Sunrise Service, Calvary Chapel Tyler, 6-9 a.m.

May 4: Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival, Townsquare Media, noon to midnight (set up May 3)

June 8: Texas Ice Cream Festival, Empowerment Community Development Corp., 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
